About the Event
Pitchfest provides you the opportunity to pitch your idea for short films or a streaming series to a panel of industry professionals. The top 3 pitches will be financed and produced in the spring of 2023. Additionally, the three winners will be eligible to travel with Grand Canyon University to the Sundance Film Festival in January.
Registration is required if you would like to pitch. A week prior to Pitchfest, you will be emailed with your time slot. On the night of Pitchfest, you will be called to come up and pitch at that time.
All pitches should aligned to the College of Arts & Media's Assignment Policy in regards to content and themes. Each pitch should be 90 seconds long and convey the story, theme of the project. After your pitch, the judges will have a short amount of time for follow-up questions.
